About the Teacher
Hello, my name is Vanina and I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Currently I'm living in Salamanca, Spain. I've been teaching for five years now, with more than 2000 hrs in the classroom. I teach to people from all ages and I love it! My native language is Spanish and but I also speak English. However, I've taught to people that speak French and Arabic.
Teaching Spanish is my passion, and I have so much fun doing it. I'm always looking for new dynamics to bring to the class. I love doing interactive activities, roleplay, songs, games you name it. I promise my classes would be as dynamic as you want them to be. The way I see it, if you have fun, I have fun.
I don't like to teach empty phrases for you to memorize and repeat to have a conversation. My method is to give you the tools to understand the language so you can be more fluent and independent learning it.
I'm a DELE Examiner, (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera), which are the official diplomas issued by the Spanish Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. So, if you need to prepare for some tests or exams, I'm your best choice.
Because I've studied Business Management and Marketing, I can teach Spanish in a work-related manner, having access to more business-like conversations.
Also, I'm a certified AVE tutor, in Spanish, it stands for Virtual Spanish Classroom, which allowed me to give workshops for implementing technology into the classroom to up becoming teachers.
I've been teaching at the Instituto Cervantes. Being a Latin American Spanish native speaker, I can adapt to both accents and styles.
Last but not least, I'm a proud mom of two of the cutest cats in the world. In my spare time, I love to blog , Netflix-binge and read about ancient history. I'm a huge fan of memes.
